GRR. Frustrated here.

Can NOT force Filemaker Pro to quit. The PID is 731 as reported by Activity Monitor. I type ps -ef and it shows me my processes, and 731 is there normally, nice. Yet if I type ps -ef -A | grep filemaker pro 8.5, a) nothing displays half the time, and b) the PID is not shown, no useful data is shown. I cannot get the PID in a way that will let me 'kill' the process. Filemaker Pro apparently has some OS-level resistance to killall or any other method of killing the process. GRR.
