		<description>I had the “failed to initialize properly” as well on a clean install of XP Professional SP3. went to the original site of the &quot;patch&quot; and saw that he wrote it in .NET,... installed .NET 1.1 and got a new error saying .NET 2.0.something was required. installed .NET 2 (SP1 I think) and it began working without any issues, and this little hack does work quite well.. makes seamless mode a pleasure.</description>

That should take you to his site.  Sorry.  I have noticed that this workaround doesn&#039;t work directly in my Windows guest.  The file names were too weird for Windows to handle.  So; I have a shared drive setup to my linux box and I call it from there.  It&#039;s a little slower, but it works.  Try that.</description>
