It's very possible that one day Google's server will be seriously hacked. I'm assuming that their backup system is pretty top notch though. But that's always been the big scare with moving everything to The Cloud, hasn't it!?

That's good that your pclinuxos boots twice as fast as Chrome OS, but what about all the other non-linux folks that have computers booting in 1-2 minutes. This will be a big change for them. To be honest I'm not sure who the target market is (people that already live on the Cloud), but boot time isn't a big seller (to me) until I experience it. I did sign up for their Cr48 project. I hope they'll give me one.

I sense one day in the far far future, hackers going after the google servers, then, opps there goes all your information, boom, just like that, everything is gone and un-recoverable... or somehow, you say or do womething that ticks off google, and booyeah, no more info for you. Plus, this has already been done, a few times, I believe mandriva has InstantOn OEM, plus, my computer runs pclinuxos and boots in 23 seconds... not 45... just another big business using someone else in the open-source communities ideas to gain $$$ (insert cha ching here).
People have often complained about how google keeps and tracks everything you do and even though they changed ther EULA for chrome, its funny how what they did then was unacceptable, but just giving them all your files straight out and out is okey-dokey... lol, people are so stupid.
