For those that may not be aware of this very groovy social web site, Pandora is “radio from the Music Genome Project”. What that actually means, you’ll have to check out the site and experience it for yourself. In a nutshell this project is totally FREE to you.

Every song, album, and artist has some properties applied to them, such as: east coast rap root, chill rhymin’, lyrics with heavy erotic content, etc. So; you do a search for “The Infamous Date Rape” from “A Tribe Called Quest” and it’ll create a radio station called “The Infamous Date Rape Station”. Pretty funny name, but you can always change it.  It will NOT play that specific song (it will eventually, but not as your first song), because of licensing, but it will play other songs with those same properties.

You can also “seed” your station with more artists and/or songs so create the ultimate uber radio station, such as “My RnB Station“.
