The Abomination Titled “The Incredible Hulk”
Aug 9th

My wife and I finally got another date night in the bag. We went to see the well anticpated and ravely reviewed “The Incredible Hulk”. From the title you can tell that my wife and I thought this movie was garbage. Truth that they stayed true to a comic-book style, but a lot of the scenes were not believable. How the army can reign havoc on a college campus or in a city and there be NO consiquences is beyond me. Overall; it’s a summer action flick, but it is not as awesome as people were ranting on about.
Personally; I like the first one. Even though it was more dramatic than this one, it showed me the human side of the Hulk, which in turn made me respect and fear him more. The pure action-packed Hulk in the latest movie is just another creature to avoid.
My wife made a good point and it was they primarily made this movie only to link the new Avengers movie coming out. This movie was not necessary, but the last scene in the movie told us ALL why it even came out.
Alex and His Turtles

Oh glorious day; the day when a father can pass down one of his traditions to his son. In this case, it would be watching (and liking) some of my old cartoon shows – such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not the new ones, this is the old ones from my era as a kid. My brother and I would watch this show all the time, draw pictures, record it on VHS and watch the episodes over and over and over again.
Yo-Joe!

For some reason I seem more optimistic than I did before. I really hope this movie turns out well. What’s so funny about this is when move studios started to butcher.. ah I mean produce comic-book movies and other shows from my generation I vowed that I would make a GI Joe movie. They could mess up everything else, but no one should touch GI Joe. I was very afraid when I heard they were thinking about doing a live action Joe movie. After watching this – the casting seems reasonable, I will pray for good scripting and acting.
